Spring Is Here!

 Hi everyone!

This school year went by so fast! I can't believe we only have 5 weeks of school left. Here's an update of what I've been up to lately!

Some of our students serving our ministry/campus by posting yard signs! We had some people mess with our signs/steal them recently while we've had signs for our series "Does Jesus care about _____". These yard signs now answer the questions we've been asking: Yes!

Jacob, Isabelle and I tabling for an event where highschoolers were touring UTD. We got to meet potential future students and leave a good impression on them and their parents! It was sweet to communicate to them that they'd have a place to belong here before they're even students.

SOW (Spring Outreach Week)

Every year we have students from our sister ministry in Washington come down for their spring breaks to do outreach on our campus! It's so encouraging to see students want to spend their spring breaks serving God in this way, rather than have the week to themselves to do whatever they want. They were so bold in reaching out to people on our campus and asking them questions. Our theme for outreach that was was "God as healer".

Here are the girls from Washington! We decided to stop by Fat Straws (a bubble tea place) for a sweet treat during their free time after a long day of outreach.

Here's the rest of the Washington crew! This is a selfie we took after having dinner with one of our hosts.

Here we are doing outreach on campus one of the days! The activity was to ask people to describe themselves and write their descriptions on a mirror tile. They then placed it on this wooden cutout of a person. We asked in what ways God can bring healing in their relationship to themselves. It was so neat to see so many students join us on this cold and rainy day to do outreach!

That's all! Thanks for reading my blog(: Below you can find our testimony of the month from Kaitlyn, a sweet freshman at UTD, along with some prayer requests.

Thank you for your continual support in my ministry! You are such a blessing to me and the students I get to minister to.

In Christ,

Michelle
